Puppy arrival
Here is a chance to work with me online or in person (depending where you are based!)
We will cover everything you need to know about ensuring your puppy is as safe and happy as possible.
This is a minimum of 4 consecutive weeks
It includes
- How to train basic behaviours using a marker word
-Crate training
-Settling your pup
- Teachin to sit and wait
-Recall
-Leave and drop
-Prevent jumping up
-Navigating the 'zoomies'
-Other tips and tricks

Adolescant training
I will help you survive this extremely fun time as your pup becomes a puber!
This will also be for a minimum of 4 weekly sessions.
It's not an easy time, trust me, I have been there. However some simple tips to help smooth this transition for you.
We will work a lot on recall and impulse control as these are pretty much forgotten as the hormones kick in.
Lots of calm breathing techniques for you and patience will help you get through!
Rescue Dogs
I have developed experience in shelters and more recently working with rescues from abroad. I am unable to work with extreme cases (I will pass this on) but I am well equipped to provide tools to support certain behavioural issues.
These can include:
- resource guarding
-separation related issues
-lunging and becoming over-the top around dogs/people

Kids, Families, Babies & Dogs
As part of my previous job at Dogs Trust, I travelled to many schools delivering workshops based on responsible dog ownership and dog bite prevention. I can deliver these types of sessions
- How to ensure safe interaction between child and dog
- Expectant mothers: How to prepare your dog for the arrival of your baby
-Toddlers and Dogs; all you need to know to create a harmonious bond
Help!
With my dog welfare experience, I can offer you tailored sessions for specific issues that you may be struggling with. If I believe it is beyond my expertise, then I will always pass the request on to someone more qualified.
Some issues may include:
-Helping to ignore other dogs/ people on walks
-Building up being able to leave your dog or puppy alone
-Building confidence in anxious dogs

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
I have worked with dogs in various capacities for over ten years.
My love for our four legged friends began during my time volunteering at the RSPCA shelter. I became very attached to the dogs supporting their well-being in every way possible. I left my life in performing and theatre and set out to help dogs even more.
I landed a great job as an Education Officer for Dogs Trust where I combined my love for educating the next generation and dogs. I worked in various educational settings ranging from primary schools to young offender establishments with an intention to reduce dog bites and promote responsible dog ownership through our workshops. I learnt so much about the importance of education as a preventative tool to improve dog welfare.
At the same time, I volunteered at local dog shelters including the local authority dog kennel where I rescued my previous Staffordshire Bull Terrier,Tigger who assisted me in schools for many years.
Since moving to the Netherlands, I have embarked on the journey to train dogs. It's been a whole other learning experience and has pieced together so much of my knowledge.
I am excited to share my experience and passion with you.
